Today, no business can survive and grow without a well-built online presence. A key component of this online presence is a strong social media presence. Social media is fast changing how business is done and having a strong social media presence is required to keep pace with competitors. So, why is having a strong social media so important for businesses? Let’s find out.

 

Your business is bound to fail if you don’t have a strong social media presence and there’s good reason for that. According to research, 2 out of 3 adults in the United States use social media for one reason or another. Today, over fifty million businesses have Facebook pages while about 100 of the Fortune 500 companies have a Twitter presence.

According to almost 75% of the surveyed marketers, an increase in traffic was one of the biggest benefits of having a social media presence.

 

In addition to the above, almost 90% of the surveyed marketers reported an increase in their market exposure after using social media as part of their marketing strategy. Finally and most importantly, more than half of the surveyed marketers reported an increase in sales after using social media for marketing and communication purposes for a year or so. Hopefully, the aforementioned survey is enough to convince you to have a strong social media presence. There are a number of benefits of using social media for your business including:
